Camangi Mangrove 7″ Tablet Launches in Japan for $600

Taiwanese based Camangi has annoucened that it will be shipping the Mangrove 7 and Android 3.1 tablet in Japan in late August. This tablet will cost you 49,800 Yen or $600 USD and is running a Tegra 2 Chipset, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a 7” screen with a 1024×800 resolution, Micro USB 2.0, WiFi BGN, MicroSD Slot, mini HDMI, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, GPS/AGPS, a 2Mpix Font facing camera and a 5Mpix Rear camera with LED Flash.

This tablet comes with a 1,600mAh battery for a size of 195x122x11.92mm and a weight of 380g. We’ll try to visit the Camangi headquarters here in Taipei to get a hands on or we’ll try to get our hands on in Japan. [Source: netbooknews.com]

You'd think after unveiling a duo of Android 3.1 slates along with a bare-bones model Archos would have washed its hands of tablets for at least a couple months, right?
