HTC provides Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for HTC Desire. This upgrade will provide improved on the features of user interface, speed and application.

HTC delivers a message before the upgrade. The message about the updates that are available are recommended for those users who are experts and understand the limitations of the update.

Because it can cause some applications to be removed and HTC only offer ROM upgrade utility for download. ROM upgrade utility is used only for development.
