Intel develops 14 Nanometer Based Processor [22 nm 3-D Tri-Gate]

World's leading processor manufacturer, Intel, is now starting to build Ivy Bridge-based processor architecture 22 nm. Its own production will begin in the first quarter of 2012. With this technology, they claim that the processor collarbone is more advanced than AMD's processors and ARM.

Even so, it seems that Intel is still not satisfied. In an interview with the manager of Intel's director of northern Europe, Pat Bliemer said that his company still continues to do research. In fact, the Nordic Hardware quoted by Electronista he said that Intel is currently carrying out tests on new processors based on 14nm.

Previously, to produce Ivy Bridge-based processor, Intel developed a 3D or Tri-gate transistor. This multidimensional electronic components have thermal characteristics and power better at the same time a more compact design. If Intel said it is currently carrying out testing of 14nm processors, then they have successfully developed a 3D transistor technology toward better.

Pat Bliemer themselves are reluctant to mention the subject further. To be sure, he said, researchers at Intel's labs are now working on this and ready to be produced for the foreseeable future.
