Samsung mSATA SSD PM830

Samsung has just introduced a new SSD, name mSATA SSD PM830. This step seems to be the impact of the onslaught of Intel to support the emergence ultrabook platform, one of which is to make more widespread the number of SSDs on the market, including the PM830.

PM830 is a mini-sized SSD, has dimensions of 50.95 x 30 x 2.80 mm and weighs only 8g. The plan, SSD will be used for Samsung's own notebook line. There are several options that capacity will be manufactured by Samsung, the 256GB, 128GB, 64GB and 32 GB.

This Samsung product has a capability of up to 500MB / s read and 269 once / s once wrote. Compared with the HDD, SSD is faster 6-fold. SSD also features AES 256 bit encryption to protect data.
