Samsung Special Factory for Apple A5 Chip

Apple is often identified as a rival from Samsung. Moreover in some countries, the two electronics manufacturers are often met at the table of justice.

But what would happen if the two companies behind the feud was working closely intertwined anyway? It was already revealed some time ago. It is said that the A5 chip who masterminded the iPhone and the iPad is a Samsung-made chips. More surprising, however, turned out to make Samsung a special plant to manufacture the chipset in the land of Uncle Sam.

The exact location of the factory is located in Austin, the state of Texas. The plant became fully operational this month, and Samsung spent a total of 3.6 million USD to build this facility. The facility, in addition to focusing on the production of A5 Chip, also makes NAND flash.

Unmitigated, 1,100 workers deployed by Samsung to manufacture chipsets only. In addition, they also employ another 1,300 people to make flash memory.
