Traxxas has just announced its newest RC cars, traxxas X0-1. This car is their claim as the fastest RC cars in the world capable of reaching speeds over 100 mph.

Uniquely, this car is controlled by an iOS-based applications. They also provide a dock for your iPhone or iPod is sold bundled with this RC car. By using these applications, the car was able to achieve speeds from zero to 60 mph in just over 2.3 seconds and zero to 100 mph in 4.92 seconds.

With control via an iPhone or iPod, users can view the data speed, RPM and temperature terdisplay in real time in the iPhone or the iPod screen. In addition, the appearance of the application can be changed in accordance with the wishes of its owner.
