Yahoo launch Hub Free text messaging apps

Free text messaging has become a common thing now, thanks to the advent of services like WhatsApp and Click Messenger. And it seems we have another one to add options. Yahoo! has just announced the launch of the Hub - is an application that allows users to send messages to other users via the Hub-based data connections. So we could "SMS" for free as long as your phone has a data connection alias connects with such a GPRS network, which supports 3G data.

What distinguishes the Hub of the other applications is that the device agnostic - meaning you can even send messages to others for free even though they do not have the Hub application, but with a note this only applies in certain countries.

Hub has a set of features commonly found in applications like this - group messaging, group management, and push notifications. At this time, the application is only available for Android devices 2.1 and above, and only for users with a SIM card in the U.S. and subscribe to text message.

A unique, does not require the recipient to reply Hub application, can reply via SMS.
