The Toshiba Thrive 10.1-inch Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet get unboxed with a few first impressions below. This NVIDIA Tegra 2 tablet features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The Toshiba Thrive also has a HDMI and USB ports, and a micro SD slot. Apart from its replaceable battery, it otherwise retains all the standard Honeycomb tablet trimmings. The Thrive is available in a 16GB model retailing for $480 and 32GB model and an 8GB version for $430 from Amazon.
We like the pricing of this tablet, it has alot to offer for the price point, full HDMI and USB support, full SD card slot, and replaceable battery. Its also got a built-in file management system makes finding and accessing files in Honeycomb easier. However, its got a pretty bulky design and is a little on the heavy side and its the LED lights on the bezel can be flashy for my liking. Its removable battery is unique so the fact that its a little thicker is justified.
