Samsung Exynos 5250 use Dual Core Cortex A15 2 Ghz Processor

Samsung has announced the Exynos 5250, a system on a chip (SoC) with dual central processor (CPU) based on ARM designs A15. This chip will run at a speed of 2GHz, and it's interesting because at the same frequency it should be up to 2X faster than the Cortex A9 designs currently used in most high-end SoCs.

This is possible because Cortex A15 can execute two instructions simultaneously similar to features that have been proven to be introduced on the Intel Pentium PC original. Combined that with the double frequency and there is great potential for a very fast chip.

Samsung also mentions that updates the graphics processor will raise a maximum resolution of 2506 × 1600 pixels, and that the memory bandwidth doubled to 12.8GB / s.

It is necessary to handle the extra resolution, but the bandwidth more use in general because it is always a problem for high performance applications. Video recording is capable of handling 1080p resolution video at a speed of 60 frames per second (FPS).

Finally, 3D stereo sound is also supported thanks to HDMI1.4 port, and the chip itself also supports SATA, USB 3.0 and other I / O standards that useful for computing devices based on ARM Windows 8 ...

Samsung said the possibility of "sample" chip will appear in the second half of 2012, which would mean the availability of actual product may present more or less in Q4 2012, or possibly in Q1 2013.
