Seagate Momentus XT 750GB Solid State Hybrid Drive

Seagate Momentus XT introduced the second generation of hybrid solid state drive (sshd) for notebooks. This new SSHD is available in capacities of 750GB. Seagate Momentus XT solid state memory combining with a 7200RPM hard drive to provide improved performance, and features FAST Factor technology combines the strengths of SSD and hard disk drive for quick access to applications, faster boot and higher speed of the system as a whole.

According to Seagate, the Momentus 750GB drive hybrids XT with nearly 70 percent faster than previous versions of the Momentus and up to three times faster than regular hard disk drive. This advanced hybrid hard drive uses the SATA interface 6Gbps and has 8GB of Single Level Cell NAND flash to double the speed of the interface and read-write NAND from previous generations.

There's also Adaptive Memory technology from Seagate that effectively adjusts to each user and the applications they use to identify patterns of usage data, and then transferring the information most often taken into solid state memory for faster access.

Price Seagate Momentus 750GB XT hybrid state drive is $ 245.
